# Installation

> Install Photobook Designer from the Shopify App Store and sign in to the admin panel.

## Install from Shopify App Store

1. Go to the Shopify App Store: [apps.shopify.com](https://apps.shopify.com)
2. Search for **"WTPBiz Photobook Designer"** or **"Photobook Designer"**.
3. Click on the app listing and click **Install**.
4. Approve the required permissions in your Shopify admin and click **Install App**.
5. Choose a plan (Monthly or Yearly) and approve the charge. Billing runs through your Shopify bill.
6. Once installed, the app appears under **Apps > Photobook designer** in your Shopify admin.

## Open the App

In Shopify admin, open **Apps** in the sidebar (or use the search bar with the **Apps** filter) and click **Photobook designer**. The arrow icon next to the name means the app opens in a **new browser tab**.

## Sign In to the Admin Panel

Photobook Designer has its own admin panel with a separate login.

1. Enter the **Email** and **Password** of your WTPBiz admin account. The eye icon shows the password as you type.
2. Click **Continue** to open the [Dashboard](/photobook-designer/dashboard).

  Your first admin login is created by the WTPBiz team during onboarding. Contact [info@wtpbiz.com](mailto:info@wtpbiz.com) if you have not received it. Add more staff logins later from [Users](/photobook-designer/users).

## Setup Checklist

Complete these steps in order before selling photo books or calendars:

1. **Brand the panel and design tool** in [Settings](/photobook-designer/settings).
2. **Add team logins** in [Users](/photobook-designer/users).
3. **Stock the asset library** (fonts, text items, colors, cliparts, backgrounds, masks, holidays) in [Assets](/photobook-designer/assets).
4. **Set up layout categories and layouts** in [Layouts](/photobook-designer/layouts).
5. **Create templates and build designs** in [Templates](/photobook-designer/templates).
6. **Link Shopify products** to your designs using the design SKU.
7. **Turn on the app embed and add the Personalize button** in your theme. See [Integration](/photobook-designer/integration).
8. **Place a test order** and download the print files from [Orders](/photobook-designer/orders).

  Customers can only personalize a product after the app embed is on, the Personalize button is on the product page, and the product is linked to a design.
