In your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store > Themes**. 2. Click **Customize** on your active theme. 3. In the theme editor, click on the **Templates** dropdown and select **Products**. 4. Click **Create template**, name it `Gallery Wall`, and click **Create**. ### Step 2 – Configure the Template 5. In the new Gallery Wall template, find **Product Information** in the left panel and hide it (click the eye icon to toggle off). 6. Click **Add section** and search for **Gallery Wall Editor** (the app block). Add it. 7. Position the **Gallery Wall Editor** section where Product Information was. Use drag-and-drop to reorder. 8. Click **Save**. The Gallery Wall Editor app block replaces the standard product information section. Customers will see the gallery builder instead of the default product layout. # Setup Gallery Wall Products Source: https://help.wtpbiz.com/Set-up-gallery-wall-products Create and configure Gallery Wall products in Shopify and the app ## Create a New Product in Shopify Each gallery wall layout is sold as a separate Shopify product. Set up the product in Shopify first, then configure it inside the app. 1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Products > Add product**. 2. Enter the product **Name** (e.g., `5 Frame Gallery Wall`, `2 Frame Set`). 3. Add product **Media** (cover image representing the layout). 4. Under **Variants**, add a variant option named `Frame` and create values for each frame style you offer (e.g., Black, White, Oak). Set a price for each. 5. Under **Theme template** (in the product settings), select the **Gallery Wall** template created in the Integration step. 6. Click **Save**. Each frame variant value (Black, White, Oak) will later be mapped to a thumbnail and frame overlay image inside the app. ## Add the Product to the App After creating the Shopify product, add it to the app to configure its gallery layout, frame styles, and border options. Gallery Wall Products 1. Go to **WTPBiz Gallery Wall > Products**. 2. Click **Select Product**. 3. Search for and select the Shopify product you created. It will appear in the Products list. 4. Click **Edit** to configure the product's gallery layout. ## Configure Gallery Wall Layout Inside each product's configuration, set the dimensions and grid layout of the gallery wall frames. | Setting | Description | | - | - | | Frame Width | Width of a single frame (in cm or inches per Settings) | | Frame Height | Height of a single frame | | Rows | Number of rows of frames in the grid | | Columns | Number of columns of frames in the grid | | Gap | Space between frames (same unit as width/height) | 1. Enter **Frame Width** (e.g., `20` for a 20cm wide frame). 2. Enter **Frame Height** (e.g., `30` for a 20x30cm frame). 3. Enter **Rows** (e.g., `1` for a single-row gallery). 4. Enter **Columns** (e.g., `3` for 3 frames per row). 5. Enter **Gap** (e.g., `2` for 2cm between frames). 6. Click **Save**. Example: Rows=1, Columns=5, Width=20, Height=30, Gap=2 creates a 5-frame horizontal gallery where each frame is 20x30cm with 2cm gaps. ## Setup Frame Variants Each frame variant (e.g., Black, White, Oak) needs a thumbnail image shown in the selector and an overlay image placed on top of customer photos. 1. In the product configuration, scroll to the **Frame Variants** section. 2. For each variant, upload: * **Thumbnail** – A small square image shown in the frame style picker (e.g., a corner photo of the frame). * **Frame Image** – A transparent PNG image that overlays on the customer's photos. The center area must be cut out. Square format preferred. 3. Repeat for all frame variant values (Black, White, Oak, etc.). 4. Click **Save**. Sample frame overlay PNG images are available from the WTPBiz resources page. Frame overlay images must have a transparent center so photos show through. ## Add Border Options Border options define the mat spacing between the photo edge and the frame border. Customers select a border option when customizing their gallery. 1. In the product configuration, scroll to the **Border Options** section. 2. Click **Add Border Option**. 3. For each border option, fill in: * **Title** – Name shown to customers (e.g., Small, Medium, Large, 3 CM, 5 CM). * **Thumbnail** – A small square image illustrating the border size. * **Value** – The actual border size in your chosen unit (e.g., `3` means 3cm border around the photo inside the frame). 4. Add as many border options as needed (e.g., No Border, Small, Medium, Large). 5. Click **Save**. Border values are entered in the unit selected in Settings (cm or inches). The value represents the space added around the photo inside the frame edge. # AI Portraits Source: https://help.wtpbiz.com/ai-portraits Generate AI-powered portrait styles using the Fal.ai integration ## AI Portraits Overview The **AI Portraits** feature uses [Fal.ai](https://fal.ai) to generate artistic portrait styles from customer photos. Go to [fal.ai](https://fal.ai) and create an account. 2. Navigate to your dashboard and generate an API key. 3. Copy the API key — you will need it in the next step. ### Step 2: Add Your API Key in Settings 1. In Photo Frame Customizer, go to **Settings**. 2. Paste your Fal.ai API key into the **Fal.ai API Key** field. 3. Click **Save**. Keep your API key secure. Do not share it publicly. Enter a **Style Name** (e.g., "Oil Painting", "Watercolor", "Pencil Sketch"). 4. Select the AI model or style preset from the dropdown. 5. Click **Save**. 6. Repeat for each style you want to offer customers. ## How Customers Use AI Portraits 1. The customer opens the frame customizer on your storefront. 2. They upload a photo. 3. They select **AI Portrait** and choose a style. 4. The app sends the image to Fal.ai and returns the transformed portrait. 5. The customer can then apply the portrait to their chosen frame. AI portrait generation may take a few seconds depending on the selected style and image size. The feature requires a valid Fal.ai API key with available credits. # Dashboard Source: https://help.wtpbiz.com/dashboard Overview of the Photo Frame Customizer dashboard and setup checklist ## Dashboard Overview When you open Photo Frame Customizer, the Dashboard is the first screen you see. Every asset page has the same layout: a summary strip, a search box, an **Add** button at the top right, and a table with edit (pencil) and delete (bin) on each row. Pages with images also have a view (eye) button. Fill these libraries before building designs, so the artwork you and your customers need is ready in the editor. ## Fonts Go to **Sidebar > Assets > Font**. Font Library The **Font Library** lists every typeface customers can choose in the editor, with a live preview. Click **Add Font** to upload a new font file. Only upload fonts you are licensed to use for print and commercial products. ## Text Items Go to **Sidebar > Assets > Text Items**. Text Items list Text items are ready-made text boxes customers drop onto a page, with font size, weight and color already set. The default set includes a caption, body text, a subheading and a heading. Each row shows text, category, font size, style, color, status and created date. Click **Add Text Item** to create a new preset. ## Colors Go to **Sidebar > Assets > Color**. Color Library The **Color Library** is the palette customers pick from for text and shapes. Each row has a swatch, hex code and name. Click **Add Color** and enter a name and hex value. Add your brand colors so customer designs stay on-brand. ## Clipart Categories Go to **Sidebar > Assets > Clipart Categories**. Clipart Categories Categories group clipart in the editor, for example Tree, Fruits and Flowers. Create a category with **Add Category** before adding cliparts to it. ## Cliparts Go to **Sidebar > Assets > Cliparts**. Clipart Library Cliparts are stickers and decorations customers place on pages. Use the category dropdown to show one category at a time. Click **Add Clipart** to upload an image and assign its category. Transparent PNG files work best for cliparts. ## Background Images Go to **Sidebar > Assets > Background Images**. Background Images Full-page images customers can set behind a page. Click **Add Background** to upload a new one. Upload backgrounds at print resolution (300 DPI at the page size). A background covers the whole page, so small files print blurry. ## Masks Go to **Sidebar > Assets > Masks**. Mask Images A mask is a shape a photo is clipped into. The black area shows the photo and the transparent area hides it, so customers can place a photo inside a number, letter or pattern. Click **Add Mask** and upload a black shape on a transparent background. ## Holidays Go to **Sidebar > Assets > Holidays**. Holiday List Holidays are marked in red on calendar grids. Each row shows the name, date, day, month and year. Click **Add Holiday** to add one. Holidays are set per year. Before selling calendars for a year, add every holiday for that year and your market. A 2027 calendar only shows holidays entered for 2027. # Dashboard Source: https://help.wtpbiz.com/photobook-designer/dashboard Overview of the Photobook Designer admin dashboard: orders, revenue, assets and the print file queue. ## Dashboard Overview The Dashboard is the first page you see after signing in to the Photobook Designer admin panel. There are two steps, both done under **Online Store > Themes > Customize**: 1. Turn on the **Photobook Designer** app embed (once per theme). 2. Add the **Personalize Button** block to your product template. No code is required. ## Step 1: Turn On the App Embed Photobook Designer app embed switched on in the theme editor 1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store > Themes**. 2. Click **Customize** on your active theme. 3. Click the **App embeds** icon in the left toolbar. 4. Switch **Photobook Designer** on (highlighted). 5. Click **Save**. The app embed loads the designer on your storefront. Without it, the Personalize button does nothing. ## Step 2: Add the Personalize Button Personalize Button block added to the product template and shown on the product page 1. From the page selector at the top of the theme editor, choose **Products > Default product** (or the product template you use for photo books). 2. Under **Product information**, click **Add block** > **Apps** > **Personalize Button** (Photobook Designer). 3. Drag the block to where the button should appear, for example under the variant picker and above the price. 4. Select the block to open its settings. **Button label** sets the button text, for example "Personalize". 5. Click **Save**. The product page now shows a **Personalize** button. Clicking it opens the design editor for that product. For photo book products, hide **Add to cart** and **Buy it now**, or use a separate product template without them, so customers design their book before checking out. ## Verify the Integration Open the product page on your live store and confirm the **Personalize** button is visible and opens the editor. If it does not appear, check that: * The **Photobook Designer** app embed is switched on and saved. * The **Personalize Button** block is on the product template the product uses. * The product is linked to a design SKU from the Design Library. See [Templates](/photobook-designer/templates). # Layouts Source: https://help.wtpbiz.com/photobook-designer/layouts Organize page layouts into categories so customers can rearrange photo slots in the editor. ## Layouts Overview Layouts are ready-made page arrangements of photo slots and text boxes.
